Dermatology (Skin Care) What Is It?
Dermatology, also known as skin and venereal diseases, is a crucial field of science concerning the diagnosis and treatment of diseases related to the skin, hair, nails, oral mucosa, and sexually transmitted diseases.

What Is Dermatoallergy?
In this area, diagnosis and treatments of allergic skin diseases are carried out. In the field of dermatology, patch testing for skin allergies, and prick testing for food and respiratory allergies are conducted.

What Is Dermatooncology?
In this branch, early diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment procedures of both benign and malignant skin tumors are performed.

What Is Interventional Dermatology?
Interventional dermatology involves diagnostic procedures such as skin biopsy, partial (incisional) or total (excisional) biopsy, punch biopsy, cryotherapy, treatment of cystic skin lesions, electrosurgery, and matrix cauterization for ingrown nails. This ensures rapid and effective healing.

What Is Cosmetic Dermatology?
The area where procedures such as skin care, botox, fillers, mesotherapy, PRP, chemical peels, and laser skin rejuvenation are performed is defined as cosmetic dermatology.

Effective Combat Against Skin Diseases
Fungal diseases, psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema (atopic and seborrheic dermatitis), acne, acne vulgaris, skin cancers (diagnosis and treatment of melanoma), hair loss, hives (urticaria), sun allergy, Behçet's disease, aphthae, genetically inherited skin diseases, warts, moles, folliculitis, capillary vessel problems, nail tumors, nail fungal diseases, nail thickening, and ingrown nails are included in the dermatology department in terms of diagnosis and treatment procedures.

Digital Dermatoscopy in Skin Cancer Diagnosis
Dermatoscopy, also known as surface microscopy of the skin, allows for the diagnosis of moles and other pigmented lesions.

With the use of this method, early detection of cancer is also very beneficial. By creating a map of moles on the body, pinpoint localizations can be determined using digital dermatoscopy. Even artificial intelligence is used in digital dermatoscopy procedures. With the determination of the localizations of moles on the body, a dermatoscopic image is taken and recorded for each mole. This allows for the comparison of two images during the next examination. Moles and other skin lesions are magnified approximately 10 to 40 times using digital dermatoscopy for a more detailed examination. Suspicious conditions in digitally recorded moles can be detected. Examining any suspicious changes in moles can create an index that also indicates the risk of malignant melanoma. This index allows for the easier organization of programs for diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

The chance of diagnosing early-stage melanoma can be approximately 75% with the naked eye on average. In digital dermatoscopic examinations, this rate can reach up to 95%. Through this process, each mole or lesion on the body can be individually monitored, which is called "Total Body Mapping". The ability to perform this method provides a much faster diagnosis for skin cancer.

Foot Health and Care
Due to factors such as excess weight, improper shoe selection, and various illnesses, wear and tear can occur on the feet. Problems such as cracked heels, corns, and ingrown toenails, which arise within this scope, can also psychologically affect individuals. It can be said that these are standalone health problems that reduce one's quality of life. All these problems occurring in the foot area can be gradually eliminated by specialists in the field. For this, consulting an experienced Dermatology (skin care) specialist is necessary.
