Prof. Dr. İsmail ERDEN was born in Ceylanpınar in 1976.
Graduating from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 2000, ERDEN achieved the highest score nationwide in the Medical Specialty Exam in 2000. He completed his specialization in Cardiology and obtained his doctorate at Dr. Siyami Ersek Chest, Heart, and Vascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital.

After fulfilling his military service at Erzurum Maraşal Çakmak Military Hospital between 2005-2006, Dr. ERDEN worked as a Cardiology Specialist at Istanbul Private Medicine Hospital from 2007-2008. He served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at Düzce University Faculty of Medicine from 2009-2010. In 2011, based on his research and examination results, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor.
From 2011-2014, he served as an Associate Professor and Educational Coordinator at Kartal Koşuyolu Training and Research Hospital. Subsequently, from 2013-2016, he was appointed as an Educational Instructor and Clinical Coordinator at Kocaeli Derince Training and Research Hospital, where he played a significant role in Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology. Since 2017, Dr. ERDEN has been serving as an Associate Professor of Cardiology at Kocaeli VM Medikalpark Hospital and Kocaeli Medical Center and Hospital, until May 2022, where he provided healthcare services at Özel Medicine Hospital. Currently, he is practicing as a Cardiology Specialist at Bilge Hospital in Sakarya.
