Born on February 7, 1950, in Yomra, Trabzon. He completed his education at Tevfikbey Primary School in Trabzon and graduated from Yomra Middle School. He proudly completed Trabzon High School with distinction each year.

Although he could enter any faculty in Turkey with the score he received in the university entrance exams, in the same year (1968), he won admission to Istanbul Technical University, ODTÜ, MTA, and a scholarship for Higher Chemical Engineering in England. He chose Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Graduating in 1974, he eagerly began serving the people as a physician at Şavşat Health Center.

Within a year, he ranked 5th in the Ministry of Health specialization exam in the Surgical Department. He completed his specialization in the 1st Surgery at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital and became a specialist with a successful exam.

As a specialist, he rotated at Kayseri State Hospital. Later in 1980, he served as the Chief Physician at Turhal State Hospital and in 1983, as a surgical specialist in the Health Board of the Air Force Academy (Yesilyurt). In 1984, he began the intense working process of his professional life as the Chief Physician of Sakarya State Hospital. He always chose the difficult path and always succeeded in it. He performed thousands of difficult and different surgeries, earning the admiration of the local people. Difficult and complicated surgeries always gave him strength and excitement. With this strength and excitement, he continued to apply the challenges of his profession with the same enthusiasm at his own hospital named after his daughter, "Bilge" Hospital.

While serving as the chairman of the family company, he continues to carry out the requirements of his duties with pleasure.
